You will not need a Motorola radio programming cable to configure the different settings of this radio. Finish the programming by clicking the + or – to select the desired settings.After selecting the desired channel, hit the PTT button, which will let you set PL/DPL programming.
Do this for at least three seconds as the radio powers on.
You can do so by pressing and holding the SB1 and PTT buttons simultaneously. First, go to the radio’s Programming Mode.
